Annette the Artist

It was not until 2003 Annette returned to painting as a means of expressing emotions and connections with the world around and within her. Her style is eclectic and reflects her inner world of passion, joy and peacefulness. Her work is mainly abstract, it is vibrant with energy expressed through colour and her distinctive style of mark making.

She claims that much of her work simply comes from an ability to let go, to trust and allow what comes forth to guide and inspire.

Her exhibition 'Transformation' has been on show at a Community Gathering and on Open Days at the Retreat. She exhibited in the Betws y Coed Arts Festival in 2009 and in May 2010 plans to be part of the Betws Festival now known as Conwy Valley festival,she will exhibit on the Retreat Open Day and she hopes to be part of the Open Studio programme in September.
