What the course will cover:
Retreat! “Step back from the demands of daily life to reconnect with what life is really about for you. In this retreat, we will touch deeply the roots of our spirituality. How do we choose to work with the spirit that is ours?
What is the call of our soul’s journey?
Using the healing, strengthening, and clarifying gifts we have in Reiki, the Principles, our early spiritual formation, the practice of Remembrance, and theme-guided silence, we will touch again the “ground of our being” and enter our lives renewed..
Much of this retreat will be in silence as it is “in the silence of the heart that God speaks”. If you have a fear of silence, this retreat may not be for you, or, you may feel a call to walk through the fear.
Each evening we will share a “wisdom circle” accessing the deepest part of our knowing”
About the tutor:
Paul Mitchell grew up in California and entered the Catholic seminary at fourteen with the desire to become a priest. At twenty-four he left the seminary, feeling that life called him to some other form of service. He taught religion at a Catholic boys’ high school and studied philosophy at the University of San Francisco.
In 1978 he took First Degree Reiki with Hawayo Takata. He is one of 22 masters trained by Mrs Takata to carry on her work of practicing and teaching Reiki. He works with Reiki students of all levels, focusing on a clearer understanding and commitment to the Usui System form of practice, the third aspect of which is Spiritual Discipline. Paul lives in Northern Idaho with his family and has facilitated classes, workshops and retreats in more than 20 countries. This will be his first in North Wales.
