Its been a quiet reflective winter in which lots of personal work has been undertaken. I wrote this poem/prayer when working through Julia Cameron’s book ‘The Artists Way’. It feels appropriate today as the buds push through and we can see the way ahead.
Oh amazing source that is creativity itself
Help me to recognise and appreciate the variety of forms that you take
Help me to celebrate and stay in the flow of wondrous creativity that is life
Help me to love
Help me to see
Help me to feel and to share the boundless creativity with everyone who comes into my life.
Help me to trust
Help me to act, to pause, to consider, to stay on my path and help others do the same
Help me to work through the pain and learn its lessons
Help me to see good in others without losing my way
Let the creative energy flow into me, build up and expand in new powerful ways for the good of all
